ok, I did something today that I have NEVER done before. I made a faction! on a server that is relatively new. It’s a barge like structure in the middle of the ocean that had a lift going underwater to a spider spawner and a barely explored mine :D I’m also in the process of creating a massive farm! thats coming along… to be honest quite slowly… I will make room to make houses soon! but until then I would like your help! join my faction and together we can make it EPIC! :D

My friend has a HP Pavilion dv6 laptop w/ 8gb RAM & 2.2 (Turbo: 3.1) GHz 2G i7 Core.

His problem, is basically as follows: 90% of his other games run fine (Sniper Elite, NBA 2k12, MW3, TDU2, reasonably new games) and he has a Radeon HD 7000m (unsure exact model) Series 2gb Dedicated (questionably >_>) Graphics card.

Minecraft, opens and plays for about 5 minutes or less, then it black screens and a messages appears with ‘AMD Drivers stopped responding but successfully recovered’ except minecraft has crashed at this point.

I’ve suggested/tried:

• Re-installing/Force Updating Minecraft
• Changing in game options (OpenGL off, lowest graphics. Neither made a difference, the game still runs fine when it is working at around 120fps)
• Adding Optifine and changing its additional options
• Quick skim over GFX utility manager, however this is a bit of a problem as the manager is intel only and can’t install the catalyst control centre either (there was issues with even getting that Raedon to be full time dedicated, before I made changes the computer was using a (assumed) mobo based intel chipset card)
• Looking for driver updates, however apprently they don’t even exist because the 7xxx series is so ‘new’

Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated by him! He just really wants to get on the server and build with us! D:

I hear about people raising money online for things all the time, little things I mean. How does one do that?


My niece’s friend comes from a very poor family, and while visiting shes absolutely fallen in love with the game Minecraft, but her parents dont have and cant affored a computer that can play it.

I’d really like to find a way to raise money to buy her a new computer. Anyone know how I could do that?
